Starter Code
- Put files in your Arduino Folder
- Use these code examples to check wiring and operation of the following components:
Starter Code available
- Motor_Direction_Test - Verify Motor Controller wiring and motor direction
- Motor_Speed_Test - Verify Motor Controller speed settings
- Motor_Speed_Test_with functions - Same as above, but with using functions in code
- MotorBalance - Use to set speeds of motors so the robot goes straight
- ReflSensorTestQTR3A - Use to verify Reflectance Sensor wiring and operation
- Line FollowTemplates - Code that combines starter code for Motor Controller and either one, two, or three reflectance sensors
- ServoStarter - Code to use servo motor. Also has code to get input from the Serial monitor
- NeopixelTest - Code to verify wiring and operation of NeoPixel strip (LEDs that are addressable and color-changeable)
- UltrasonicSensorTest - Code to verify wiring and operation of ultrasonic distance sensor
- Star Wars- Plays Star Wars Theme Song
- Search Algorithms- Maze-solving software using both ultrasonics and line-following
Code examples are one of the best ways to start coding, as well to learn proper syntax. In addition to the examples given bellow, the Arduino IDE comes with a host of examples. Also, when a new library is added to the Arduino IDE, it also includes sample code for use of that library. A good programming practice is to copy and paste example code into the bottom of your sketch, /* comment it out */, then use parts as needed.
